History The MX500 was originally known as the Phoenix and is based on the Phoenix square tube chassis and features inboard front suspension and independent rear suspension. We have all the jigs to allow the original Phoenix to be made with Escort or Capri front uprights and a Sierra differential and rear suspension. A choice of engines is available, ranging from bike engine to Duratec, but the 1600 SE engine is light and powerful and allows the non-bulge bonnet to be used. |
